While I was familiar with Squidoo (a similar but different site), only recently did I hear about HubPages from an online student. So far, it looks very interesting and I hope to reap some of its apparent benefits, there are many topic areas I will be checking out. I am a retired IBM Systems Engineer who moved on to a second career in higher education, as a Technology Chair and faculty in business and technology...both online and traditional classroom. Although my teaching areas are primarily in the technology and business fields, my personal interests vary widely and I may write on my automotive interests, collectibles, online activities, or... I proudly served in the Air Force during the Cold War era. As you might guess from my ID, I am a classic car buff and currently own a '63 Studebaker Hawk.
